the campari kiss

This week I have another signature drink idea for you all that is perfect to kick off the weekend. This Valentine's Day inspired drink is bright and festive with just the right amount of bubbles for any celebration.

The Campari Kiss

Ingredients:
1 oz Vodka
.5 oz of St. Germaine
Campari
1 Blood Orange
Champagne

To Mix:
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.  Add vodka, St. Germaine and a splash of Campari.  Add the juice of one blood orange and shake to mix throughly.  Fill champagne flutes with juice mixture and top off with champagne.  Sip and enjoy with your loved one!

It has already started snowing here on the east coast and I couldn't be more excited to hunker down and sip on this drink while I work on a few Valentine's Day projects.  I hope you all have a great weekend spending time with the ones you love most!

I've never been big on Valentine's day. Maybe that's because I generally have a hard time expressing my feelings. I've written plenty of cards telling my boyfriend how much he means to me, but I want to do something different for Valentine's day. And something inexpensive. These photos of homemade decorations and gifts are adorable but never something I would do. Do you have any ideas of ways I could make the night special?

    1. Hi! Thanks for your comment. If you are not the crafting type and are looking for something to make tomorrow night special, I love the idea of making a special treat or meal for the two of you to enjoy together. One way to make it personal is to create a recipe card or menu, that way you have something to remember the treat or meal by after Valentine's day has come and gone. I hope this helps! Good luck :)
